Predicting soccer formations and plays from drone footage to give amateur players individual coaching.
The problem
Amateur players rarely get the kind of tactical feedback professionals get from analysts and film sessions.
The approach
Establish a baseline by modeling professional teams’ formations and plays, then apply those models to drone footage of amateur games.
What I built
In progress: a computer vision pipeline that predicts team formations and plays and turns them into individual coaching for each player.
